Hello everyone! And best wishes for 2016!
A lot of stuff happened, and as you can see, our work advanced a lot.
New concept arts!
AND IN THE NEAR FUTURE…
Pantagrame will be at Festival International du Film Fantastique de Gérardmer, January 27-31 2016.
On February 6 the new boss and new music will come out!
Stay tuned and see you soon for more satanik news and the victory of Darkness!
Looking back at what has been done, Pantagrame started in 2013. That’s 70 strips and 3 minigames a year! Not counting all of the work done on preparation: hundred of documents, notes on worldbuilding, cultures, characters, hundred of concept arts. I can’t thank enough Arkh, Oraziel and Bica, who embarked with me on this crazy journey and did (respectively) all of the programming, music and website. Pantagrame is a work of passion I’m always glad to produce for, but it would be nothing without their stunning participation! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Thanks to you, readers, for obviously liking this work and sharing it further. Thanks for all the fanart and the nice messages! We’re getting stronger and stronger support!
And Pantagrame would not be the same without the various additional help, such as Raza’s work on posters, badges and printed strips for example, or Shiro’s (and other anglophone friends) betareading on the English version. It avoid me speeking an another way, about all probability less nice to the eye. Thank you too, Raza, Shiro and every friend who helped the project along the way.
We’re going to move much more quickly in the close future, towards other lands of the vast Solworld, towards other characters, strange cultures and grandiose architecture – and towards other stories as well, on other supports, Pantagrame Quest is not going to stay the only window open on this large setting. Are you ready to follow us on this trip? ARE YOU READY?
Then rendezvous this weekend! For Parisian people or visitors to the capital, the convention EPITANIME is open once again, and Pantagrame will be there! You can buy goodies there (novels, sprite comic booklets, badges, original drawings), you can talk with both Arkh and myself, you can establish new records on the various bosses or find the secret passages… and maybe you’ll learn a se-cret!
See you soon!
It’s been a month since the last news. I’ve become quite the hermit in order to complete the gargantuan task of Level 4… And finally it’s here!
[Like every other game, you can find it on the Games page anytime!]
Playing as Tilda, explore the museum and uncover its numerous secrets!
Once again, only the most talented (or unlucky) players will discover the White Zone, full of clues about the upcoming events.
The next game, also in preparation since months, will be published 1st of September. In the meantime, the story will go on, two comic strips a week. Three when it’s a lucky week!
To talk a little about Japan Expo, it was INCREDIBLE! So much preparation, the biggest European convention, so many fans and customers… Thanks to Raza, Nô, Yoooiou, Victoria, Fyorda, Cifera, Nico and Miku, PenPen, Nube, Amo, Jamic, Chasseuse de Nuages, Amanda, Ozymandias, Hanged Bunny Studio, thanks to my collaborators Arkh and Bica who gave all of their energy, thanks to all of the Teliam Vore, Values and Alabaster readers (and hello to all of the Homestuck trolls), all of the friends and fans I forgot, all of people who came to our booth, who participated in turning this exhausting convention into five FABULOUS days!
You see all of the goodies, bonus and surprises we had on the booth? We’ll have a thousand more next time! Don’t miss Pantagrame’s next public appearance!
See you soon everyone!
Having the inside track, or knowing some circles, blogs or websites, some of you may already have learned the truth: Pantagrame will be at JAPAN EXPO!
Double booth, new levels, second boss, but not merely that! You’ll be able to see exclusive concept arts, loads and loads of goodies (the printed webcomic, Vitriol and Floreal figurines, mugs, T-shirts, etc, etc), and the Floreal contest once over again. If you want a signed drawing, you’ll just have to try and do the best time for the boss on our satanik booth!
We’ll be there from 2nd to 6th of July, at booth # CP49, in alleyway JC, Hall 6!
Oh, also, yeah, EPITANIME was amazing! Despite some technical problems, the convention was pretty good, with lot of people, and the organizers worked very hard to offer once again the EPITA experience. Thanks to them, and thanks to you, thanks to everyone who came on the booth!
Thanks to the neighbours, too, mainly Brigade SOS which helped us with logistics, and thanks to the nice Homestuck and Dangan Ronpa fans who allowed me to not die during the transportation of some of my equipment.
And congratulations to Amo (on this pic) for beating the convention’s best time for Floreal!
Some new Geekopolis pics, two weeks later.
Zelda playing the PANTAGRAME level 3, a drawing of Vitriol killing a chicken for a fan, and some amazing troll cosplayers!
End-of-convention pic with ADLB production (best booth neighbours ever!). Left to right: Pierre-Jean (ADLB), Guillaume (ADLB), Arkh (Pantagrame), Cauchemar (Pantagrame), Alexis (ADLB), Bica (Pantagrame).
Everyone was really amazing and adorable, and Arkh, Bica and myself, along with some friends (Ozma, Hitori, etc) met a lot of other great teams here: our usual friends from Crash System and Les Artistes Fous, but also Présences d’Esprits, ADLB productions, etc.
Huge thanks to everyone for such an awesome weekend!
As indicated previously, the next stop was the Epinal city for Les Imaginales. This festival is especially close to my heart, since it’s about literature and drawings. A lot of amazing artists were there.
Arkh was strong enough to be part of the adventure again, despite having had basically no rest since he got back from Japan. The man keeps jumping from party to party and con to con and these days, he’s leaving for yet another travel!
A lot of thanks to everyone again! I wasn’t expecting such success since we were a webcomic/video game, not the usual booths in Les Imaginales. Hello to Elbakin (the reference in francophone fantasy websites!), congratulations to the incredible performance artists from Tibody Paint, thanks to Olivier Lusetti, Aurélie Genêt and Gillossen for the great discussions about narration, other worlds, the accessibility of outlandish settings and sci-fi in general… And hello again to Présences d’Esprits!
The next convention… and it’s this very weekend! I don’t have much time to talk about it now, but it’ll be great too! One of the most famous anime conventions in Paris, and we’re going to be there, right here, right now!
For the triumph of darkness, for rivers of blood, for neverending screams and absolute despair… For SATAN FOREVER!
